Davidson Harley Jacket

Is a 1200 CC Harley too much for a first bike?

I have little exp. on a motorcycle and i have my license, but my uncle has a 1200 CC Harley i can use, I am wondering if its too much bike. I can flat foot it and everything, but i just wanted opinions
