Why are Harley Davidson Riders afraid to ride a sport bike, rice rocket?
On last Sunday's poker run I offered two Harley Davidson riders to trade riding bikes with me ( they ride my rice rocket and I ride their Harley) They both refused cause they are afraid of my bike.
Are they afraid they would look bad riding it or don't they have any confidence in themselves that they could ride it,
I believe riding a rice rocket is much easiser than riding a Harley

Riding a sport bike is not easier than riding a Harley, that's why they're called cruisers. A sport bike riding position is similar to an Olympic sprinter about to tackle the high hurdles, and a cruiser riding position is like sitting in your recliner watching TV.
Neither HD rider was afraid of riding your bike, they just didn't want some low-budget, no skill, wannabee poker runner throwing his leg over their machine.
I wouldn't let you sit on one of my bikes, much less ride it.
And it wouldn't matter what you offered me to ride. Basically, it's like you're trying to do a wife swap and my wife is gorgeous and yours looks like…….well, we can't assume that you can get a girl, but if you could, she'd probably be an ugly bit–.
He can still ride cruiser style bikes, how do you know the harley riders hadn't sustained similar injuries?
My partner is only 30 and looks a lot younger, most people do not realise he has injuries from his bike riding that have him in agony most days.
Anyways- why on earth would you want to ride a Hardley Ridable? Those things handle like a bucket of you know what! Try riding a Honda Goldwing- now that is a cruiser worth riding! A friend describes them as an armchair on wheels, and my other half has fallen asleep while riding his.
Also, they don't want you anywhere near their bikes. No one rides my bike but me, or one of my brothers.
They're not afraid to ride your bike, they're afraid to let you ride theirs!
Its easier to go from a cruiser/tourer to a sport bike than the other way around.
When I first got my Dyna, I found the weight and longer wheel base a little difficult to handle. Now when I ride my Honda, it feels like a toy. The riding skills I've gained on a heavyweight cruiser made me a much better sport bike rider.
Edit.OMG i see Brenda has signed on!Brenda are you the one that Bart mentions on occasion?I'll bet he's crapping bricks if you are!
Harley guys are wearing blinders and living in a fantasy world. As long as they never ride anything else they get to pretend that their bikes are all-that.
